Pre-Registering for the Star of the North
Pre-registration for the 2018 Star of the North will open on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 and continue through Friday, March 30.
Registering AFTER March 30
If you decide to register AFTER the March 30 deadline, you have two options:
Option 1: Attendees can continue to register online anytime through the meeting. Simply register online and then stop by to pick up your badges and tickets at a “Badge Pick-Up” counter located in the registration area.
Option 2: Attendees can stop by one of our “Onsite Registration” counters located in Kellogg Lobby of the Saint Paul RiverCentre where you will need to fill out an onsite registration form and select any programs you wish to attend. However, be prepared, if you decide to register onsite, you may have to wait in line.
Please note: Any non-MDA members who register after the pre-registration deadline (between April 1 and April 28) will be charged an additional fee of $20. Photo identification is required for onsite registration.

MDA Member Dentists and Students Dentists
MDA members should pre-register online or use a downloaded registration form for all programs and events. Appropriate tuition fees for individual courses or activities will apply. Registration is FREE to all MDA members; however, your 2018 dues MUST be paid before your registration will be processed. Be prepared, if you decide to register onsite, you may have to wait in line.
All MDA student dentist members should pre-register for the meeting either online or using a downloaded registration form. Appropriate tuition fees for individual courses or activities will apply. Badges will be delivered to the dental school and placed in school mailboxes.
Non-MDA Member Dentists
Dentists and undergraduate/postgraduate dental students who are not members of the MDA should pre-register online or using a downloaded registration form. In addition to the meeting fees, appropriate tuition fees for individual courses or activities will apply.
A onetime discounted nonmember registration fee will be available. This fee will be $125 and will apply to any dentist who has not been a member of the MDA/ADA within the past year (2017 membership year). This special registration category will give nonmembers access to the exhibit hall and continuing education classes. This discounted rate can only be used once to give nonmembers an opportunity to preview all the meeting has to offer. Use registration category “Z” when you register.
We will also feature an “exhibits hall only” pass which will be available at $75. This registration category can only be used by out-of-state ADA members. Attendance at the Exhibit Hall Premiere Night is prohibited. Use registration category “X” when you register.
