Star of the North Meeting

Chair's Message

Welcome to the 2013 Star of the North

It is indeed a privilege to welcome you, on behalf of the Scientific Session Committee, to the Minnesota Dental Association's 2013 Star of the North Meeting.

Nationally Know...Close to Home, is our theme this year.  We want you to feel right at home at the Star of the North.  We hope you will take advantage of the spectacular line up of nationally recognized speakers, presenting the cutting edge research and techniques that can benefit your patients and potentially change your life.  Moreover, we hope you'll be able to meet old friends and classmates, share stories and enjoy what no other meeting can provide.

Back by popular demand is the Exhibit Hall Premiere Night on Thursday, April 25 from 4:30 pm to 8:00 pm.  Be sure to request your "backstage pass" to join us for exclusive access to the exhibit floor and enjoy complimentary food and beverages.

New this year on the exhibit floor, you can get your Professional Digital Portrait taken.  You'll be able to use this for your ADA member profile or for your own practice marketing purposes.  Photographers will be available during specific times over all three days.

A favorite Friday morning event at the Star of the North is the keynote speaker.  This year, extreme adventurer Jamie Clarke will share his Mt. Everest adventures, as he motivates you and your team to climb to new heights.  The keynote will take place in Roy Wilkins Auditorium from 8:00 am to 9:00 am.

Come and experience the many things the Star of the North has to offer, and find out why it has become Nationally Known even when it's so Close to Home!
