General Dentistry as a Specialty: Fixed, Implant, Restorative
- Richard Winter, D.D.S., MAGD, DABOI, FAAID
It is more important than ever to learn how to do complex dentistry and set a standard you can be proud of. As we are held accountable to the level of a specialist, we should focus our attentions at performing all phases of dentistry at the same level a specialist sets for themselves. The course will review complex treatment planning for complex patient care. It will explore quadrant and full arch dentistry to full mouth rehabilitation and implant reconstruction. For complex care we must start with the premise that every tooth and or implant matters and this course is a photographically rich journey of many complex care cases including implant surgery, prosthetics, and rehabilitation. This course will also discuss MMCL modified minimal crown-lengthening, a technique Dr. Winter developed to help our prosthetic outcomes and preserve bone.
Learning Objectives:
1) Treatment planning for success.
2) Advanced planning for fixed implant bridges, hybrids, All-on-X, segmental implant rehabilitation.
3) Fixed prosthetics based on patient budgets and expectations.
4) Sequencing care for optimal outcomes.
5) CBCT planning for implant success.
