Successfully managing a medical emergency is significantly different from knowing about medical emergencies. This workshop is presented in a Socratic approach and is ideal for dental offices to attend as a team (although individual attendees are welcome). Through the workshop, attendees will be presented with lifelike challenging situations which could actually occur during routing dental treatment.
The lecture (Course #T2225) is a pre-requisite for this workshop.
1) Understand how to approach a medical event in an organized and comprehensive manner.
2) Learn how to optimize the use of the staff during a crisis.
3) Appreciate the value of well-defined algorithms to guide the dental team through complex medical situations.
