Offensive Dentistry This is a Core CE seminar

April 28, 2022
9:00 am – 11:30 am
  • Brian Novy, D.D.S.

Let’s face it, sitting through a lecture about dental caries or caries risk assessment isn’t appealing (in fact it sounds downright boring). However, the science of clinical cariology is beginning to have an impact on restorative techniques and technology. Streptococcus mutans has more to fear than a rheostat, now that we’re armed with salivary diagnostics and bioactive materials.

Learning Objectives:
1) How to intervene medically in the caries process.
2) Control patient caries risk with focused therapeutics.
3) Design restorations to minimize recurrent decay.
4) Improve the prognosis of restorative treatment.

This presentation is sponsored by an unrestricted educational grant provided by GC America.

Course Number: T2217

Recommended for

  • Dental Assistants
  • Dental Hygienists
  • Dental Therapist
