The Star of the North Meeting cannot guarantee an exhibitor will be assigned any of the space requested; however, every effort will be made to assign booth space in accordance with exhibitor’s preferences. Because of the limited number of corner booths on the exhibit floor, exhibitors requesting two corner booths must have a minimum booth configuration of 20’x20’ or larger. Two corner booths requests in a 10’x20’ configuration will not be assigned.
For Contracts Received by the Priority Placement Deadline:
The Star of the North Meeting assigns space on a priority point system for contracts received on or before the priority placement deadline of November 2, 2012.
Exhibitors will be divided into four groups:
Group 1: Contracts requiring four or more spaces
Group 2: Exhibitors who purchased the promotional package
Group 3: MDA endorsed companies
Group 4: All other contracts in priority points order
Within each group, space will be assigned on a priority basis according to the the number of points each company has accumulated, with ties being decided based upon the date a complete contract was received. Complete contracts must include Application, ST-19 and minimum booth deposit. Points will be awarded for the following:
* Promotional package and sponsorship points
* One point for each year of exhibiting. Companies that did not exhibit in 2011 and 2012 have forfeited history points.
* Ten points for contracts received by September 28, 2012.
* Five points for contracts received after September 28, but before October 19, 2012.
* One point for each booth purchased greater than one.
For Contracts Received After the Priority Placement Deadline:
Contracts received after November 2, 2012 will be assigned space on a first-come, first-served basis. If two contracts are received on the same day, priority will be given to the company with the greater number of points.
