Star of the North Meeting

Is there a prize photograph in your collection? Whatever the subject, why not give fellow meeting-goers a look at your masterpiece! Impress your friends and colleagues with that "once in a lifetime" photo. All photographs and winners will be displayed in the "Art of Dentistry" photo exhibition located on the the exhibit floor.

*Nature: animals, plants, and landscapes
*People: individuals from all walks of life, in the U.S. or abroad
*Still Life: inanimate objects

First, second, and third prizes will be awarded for each category. The first place winners from each category will be eligible to win the "Best of Show" award. During the meeting, attendees will be able to vote for their favorite "Best of Show" photograph and the winner will be announced in the May-June Northwest Dentistry issue and on the Star of the North and on this website after the meeting. Special prizes will be awarded to the "Best of Show" winner and the first place winners from each category. Ribbons will be awarded to all other award-winners.

All photographers must be registered to attend the 2013 Star of the North Meeting. Limit of five (5) photos per applicant. Participation is limited to the first 100 photos. Please see the Art of Dentistry application for the official rules and regulations.

The MDA will arrange to have the photos judged at the MDA office prior to the Star of the North Meeting.  Photos dropped off after the deadline or onsite at the meeting will NOT be accepted.
